About Us

Quick Feet Running is built on over 15 years of experience in the sport, shaped by a lifelong passion for putting one foot in front of the other. Over that time, the coach behind Quick Feet Running has completed 15 marathons, learning firsthand what it takes to train consistently, stay healthy, and show up ready on race day.

About Us

That journey spans everything from the speed and precision of the 800 meters on the track to the grit and strategy required to run a 2:41 marathon. This breadth of racing experience means training plans are not copied from a template—they are informed by years of trial, error, and success at multiple distances and paces.

Frequently Asked Questions

Twin Cities, MN

The 80/20 rule for running means doing most of your training very easy and only a small portion hard. About 80% of your weekly running should be at a relaxed, conversational pace, with the remaining 20% done at moderate to hard efforts like tempo runs or intervals to build speed and power while limiting injury risk and burnout

Choosing the right running shoe is highly individual because every runner’s feet, biomechanics, mileage, and goals are different. Foot shape, arch type, pronation, past injuries, and the surfaces you run on all influence which shoe will feel comfortable, support your stride, and help reduce injury risk.

After a running consultation—where gait, goals, and fit are assessed together—it becomes much easier to narrow the options and recommend the specific shoe that will work best for you personally.

  • The number one goal is to reach the start line healthy and ready to race!
  • A coach sets clear, realistic goals with you which creates a strong external commitment to follow through on your plan.

Of course! A coach is there to help you through racing strategies, motivation dips, injury prevention, and questions you can't find the answer to. We want you to succeed just as much as you do!
